Bio
A board-certified family physician, Shacara Wilson, MD is an assistant director and a full-time faculty member of Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. Her clinical interests are in performing outpatient procedures, outpatient gynecology, musculoskeletal, pediatric and geriatric care. She especially loves taking care of patients in the inpatient setting.
She studied at Florida Atlantic University for her undergrad education and completed her medical training at the University of Miami. She was awarded Outstanding Student in Family Medicine in her graduation year. Dr. Wilson performed her residency at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital. After seven years in private practice, Dr. Wilson returned to Orlando Health in 2020. She is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Wilson making a home visit for my mother who is in end of life care is exceedingly beneficial.
I have the best Doctor hands down. She is phenomenal.
Dr Wilson is always clear in her communications, listens intently and includes my concerns when discussing wellness plan. She does a comprehensive review of bloodwork, compares to previous results and discusses changes and concerns.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
